Empowerment Lab – Your key to self-confidence and professional integration
The Empowerment LAB is much more than a course or a project measure.
It's a journey to your professional future!
A journey in which you are the protagonist – and we accompany you for part of the way.
Perhaps you haven't been employed for a few years because family, migration, or learning a new language took center stage. Perhaps you can't work in your original profession in Germany, or your qualifications aren't recognized the way you had hoped. Or perhaps you simply know: I want to make a fresh professional start – but I'm not yet sure in which direction.
Then the Empowerment LAB is for you.
Because you're not starting from zero
You bring professional experience, knowledge, talents, and skills with you. And your migration experience has also given you competencies that can be valuable in the labor market: adaptability, courage, intercultural competence, multilingualism, organizational talent, or the ability to adjust to new situations again and again.
In the Empowerment LAB, we make all of this visible – and use it to develop your next professional step.
Together, we'll explore questions such as:
What do I already bring with me?
Which of my previous professional experiences and skills can I transfer to the German labor market?
What has migration made of me?
What new skills, perspectives, and strengths have I developed along my journey?
Where do I want to go?
What would my professional future look like if I could shape it myself?
And what do I need to get there?
On your journey, you'll also be accompanied by a group of up to 14 women who – just like you – want to actively shape their professional future. Together you'll go through the following stations:

Potential analysis: your strengths, experiences, and resources

Your opportunities in the German labor market

Application process & professional positioning

Building your network

Time management & work-life balance
-
Job fair and contacts with the labor market
And at the end of the journey, it's not simply the end of a course.
At the end stands your personal action plan.
You'll know more clearly where you want to go professionally, which resources you already bring with you, and which concrete steps you want to take next.
Because professional participation means more than finding a job. It can mean deciding for yourself again, developing further, contributing your own abilities, becoming more economically independent, and actively helping to shape society.

Time: Mondays and Tuesdays (except during fall break)
from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (except on September 14 and 15, when the session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

For whom: Women with German language skills at the B1 level or higher
